Give Them a High Five: AMP Student-Success at LCCTC

If you see Zac Christy (Electrical Occupations, senior), Hayden Daviduk (Welding, junior), Eli Levine (Welding, junior), William Lindner (Welding, senior), Sami McKnight (Electrical Occupations, junior), Jhenavesza Miller (Electrical Occupations, senior), Coulter Street (Electrical Occupations, senior), or Tristen Wojnarowski (Automotive Technology, senior), give them a high five! These outstanding students have recently completed the Advanced Manufacturing Program (AMP) by mastering all 27 modules with a score of 70% or higher.

All will be recognized for this momentous achievement at graduation by wearing the distinguished Penn State blue AMP sash to represent their successful completion of this program offered by Penn College of Technology. Juniors will have the honor of wearing their sashes next year when they graduate.

Congratulations to our newest Advanced Manufacturing Certified Students:
Zac Christy, Hayden Daviduk, Eli Levine, Sami McKnight, Jhenavesza Miller, Coulter Street, and Tristen Wojnarowski!

Several of these students have also earned the Certified Manufacturing Associate (CMfgA) credential through Tooling U–SME. Those with this national certification will proudly wear a Penn College of Technology pin along with their sash.

According to Glassdoor.com, the average salary for a Certified Manufacturing Associate (CMfgA) in the U.S. is approximately $42,624 per year. Actual earnings may vary based on experience, location, and job role, but one thing is clear — our students have set themselves apart through their extra effort, advanced training, and dedication to excellence.

Congratulations, AMP students from LCCTC! We are proud of all you’ve accomplished and wish you continued success in the years ahead!

This class of AMP students would like to thank the generosity of Forward Lawrence for the stipend incentives and for the opportunity extended to them to take this class and earn the certification. “It really means so much to us to have you believe in us like this. Thank you!”
