Baccalaureate 2025: Trust, Connection, Comfort, and Purpose
Tonight, members of the LCCTC community came together to share messages of trust, connection, comfort, and purpose with the graduating Class of 2025 as they prepare for their next adventure.
Principal Diana Caiazza referenced Proverbs 3:5-6 as a powerful reminder of where true guidance lies: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Though our graduates are ready to take on the next chapter of their lives, Mrs. Debra Allenbach, President of the Joint Operating Committee, encouraged them to stay connected to the Vine—a reminder to remain grounded in their faith. By doing so, she explained, their lives will bear fruit that reflects not only who they are, but Whose they are. Remaining rooted in what they know is right will give them lasting strength, guidance, and purpose.
Mrs. McVicker, joined by each graduate, shared verses of comfort that were thoughtfully paired with lyrics from Phil Collins’ Tarzan song, “You’ll Be In My Heart.” These words reminded the class that they are never alone, offering reassurance and emotional support for whatever lies ahead.
The evening concluded with a powerful message from Hope Franklin, president of LYFT (LCCTC Youth in Faith and Truth). She challenged graduates to remember why they were created and to embrace the journey of discovering and living out their God-given purpose.
Together, these heartfelt messages brought encouragement and inspiration to all in attendance.
And now—on to tomorrow and beyond.
Congratulations, Class of 2025!
