As the final pages of the year come to a close, and thoughts of summer cloud the minds of students and staff alike, students at Lawrence gathered in the quad to battle for the top spot, the Golden Eagle Award. They also pulled their way into the hearts of the school with the tug-of-war.

Feats of great athleticism like Egg on a Spoon, Disk in a Basket, and the three-legged race found shop pitted against shop, but who would be this year’s big winner and take home the Golden Eagle trophy?? (Scroll for the photos from tug-of-war.)

It was a hard fight, but in the end, Electrical Occupations brought home a bronze, and Cosmetology the silver. So who took home the grand prize? Carpentry!
