LCCTC Inducts 29 Members into the National Technical Honor Society

On Tuesday, April 28th, the LCCTC community gathered together to celebrate the induction of the new National Technical Honor Society members. This year, over 20 students were inducted into this prestigious program.

To be selected for the NTHS, students must have a GPA of at least 3.5, which includes their 9th-grade year before coming to our school. They must also have a good attendance record and no discipline referrals.

The ceremony was hosted by Mrs. Pasterik, Mr. Orelli, and Mr. Pavia. They welcomed the new members into the program and guided them through the ceremony.

During the ceremony, each new student was inducted by a previous NTHS member. One by one, students placed down a candle to represent them joining the ranks of the NTHS. Students also received a pin and a certificate.

While they were placing their candles, students' personal accomplishments and future plans were also read out loud.

Congratulations to all who were inducted, and may this show the hard work and drive of the students of LCCTC.
