StarBound Entertainment's Peppa Pig Visits LCCTC

In a school by a hill, not far away there's a friend that we love to see.

She learns a trade and goes to school at Law-Co CTC.

With tools in hand and knowledge in mind, she's happy as can be.

Now who could that friend be?

Sing along with me! It's PEPPA PIG, PEPPA PIG!

Look who made an appearance at LCCTC! Thanks to the skill and determination of the Welding program, Peppa and her many friends at StarBound Entertainment will have an easier time traveling the parade routes!

Kemp Doster of StarBound Entertainment states, "This is really going to help us a lot in the fall! We'll be able to use these this summer, too; your dollies have made it a lot easier. As soon as we get back to the office, we'd like to order more!"

Based in New Castle, PA, StarBound Entertainment is noted for its giant character parade balloons and has appeared at prestigious events like the Kentucky Derby, the Indianapolis 500, ABC's Disney Christmas Parade, the Orange Bowl, and the Lawrence County Veterans Day parade.

Today's test run was made by the Welding program students, themselves. "It really feels great being able to help a local company like this! We hope to help pull the floats in the Veteran's Day Parade in November!" states William Linder, Welding junior.

The welding program created the metal dollies that cart the parade balloons along the route.

"It's pretty neat to see our work be put to work like this!" states Blaise Dando, Welding junior.

Principal Diana Caiazza states, "This is a WONDERFUL opportunity for our welding program -- putting their skills to work in a real-life situation. And it was great to see the kids getting such a kick working with Peppa!"

Great job, Welding! And Peppa Pig -- we hope to see you soon!
