SkillsUSA Costume Day 2019

Our student body welcomes the chance to be a kid for a day, and what better day than Halloween? Sponsored by SkillsUSA, Costume Day was a great success.

“It’s good to see that our kids had some good, clean fun,” says Principal Milanovich.

Was it all play and no work — no-siree! As you can see in the pictures below, our students continued to develop their vocational, technical, and academic skills — they just did so in a costume.

In the “spirit” of a lesson in history, students learned that it was an ancient custom to wear costumes to ward off ghosts, so what about hats? No problem. A few rips and frays? No sweat. “Enjoy your day and have fun,” chimed in Director Rich.

Congratulations to Sarah Odom, Keegan Wallace and Diamond Spencer our 2019 Halloween Costume winners! Each winner received a Dunkin Donut gift card!

It was clearly a light-hearted day for all.
