Making Early Steps toward Goals

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you’ve imagined!” ~ Henry David Thoreau

When junior welder Zach Marski took the career interest survey, he merely confirmed what he already knew: He was destined for military service. He had taken his ASVABs, had done his homework, and made his connections. All he needed to do was take that step which would confirm his commitment.

On October 24th, he took that step.

This step would have made his great grandfather proud. “That’s one of the reasons I’m doing this — to honor him,” states Zach. “I have the the freedom I have because of his service. Plus — he was able to get an amazing education that enabled him to run a successful business when he finished his service; I’d like that opportunity, too.”

Zach is making is mom proud, too: “He is an amazing young man who never ceases to amaze me. Congratulations buddy!! You are making so many people proud.”

Congratulations Zachary Marski. We wish you all the luck in the world as you prepare to leave for United States Army Basic Training on June 9th.

When he graduates LCCTC, Zach will undergo Advance Individual Training where he will learn the job skills required of his military occupational specialty, Supply Specialist.
