$1,000 Raised to Support Kalo During VA Campaign

This month, the Veterinary Assistant students proudly hosted their “Stick Up 4 Paws” fundraiser to support Shenango Township K9 Officer, Kalo. Community members were invited to bring their furry friends in for baths and toenail trims for just $5, or a bath and shave for $10, with all proceeds benefiting K9 Kalo.

As part of the event, Officer Tressler and K9 Kalo visited the Veterinary Assistant students to share more about their important work and service to the Shenango Township community. Students enjoyed learning about Kalo’s duties, training, and the special partnership between officer and K9.

Thanks to the generosity of the community and the hard work of the VA students, “Stick Up 4 Paws” was a huge success. Together, they officially raised $1,000 for K9 Kalo. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this event possible and supported such a worthy cause.
