Another Successful Blood Drive!
The Health Assistant program would like to thank everybody for making our final blood drive of the school year a success! We reached our goal of collecting over 25 products of blood which will be used to impact as many as 75 individuals.
A special “thank you” must be given to:
Our restaurant trade students and Miss. Price for providing us the amazing pizza to give to our donors and workers.
Our front office staff for checking in all of the blood drive workers.
Our custodial staff, Mr. Dudich and Mr. Hiler and our afternoon turn staff for ensuring the room was set up and ready to go.
Our teachers and staff who graciously permitted students to be excused from their class to donate.
And of course, our fearless students who rose to the occasion for the blood donation!
That's a wrap for the 2024-2025 school year. As always, great job LCCTC. We continue to exceed blood donations compared to other schools.
This is no accident. The blood drives are becoming more and more student led the longer I do these. The HA Blood Drive committee hung all signs around the building (which will be taken down tomorrow), got all sign ups during VTA and lunch and facilitated the blood drive flow today. Kudos to these students!
Shoutout to our HA Blood Drive committee made up of our underclassmen who will be taking over the blood drives for the next two years:
