As leaves finally turn their beautiful colors of red, yellow and orange, current members of SkillsUSA greeted eager graduates and their families with, “Welcome home!” It was the building tour that began the night of honor for the seven inductees into the Lawrence County CTC Hall of Fame on the evening of October 18th, 2025

Traveling the same hallways from yesteryear brought back memories of happy times, friends who are now far and wide, living their lives doing career skills that began at what was Lawrence County Area Vocational Technical School before it became the Career and Technical Center. While renovations have been made, including newly transformed restrooms and academic lockers, many things were the same. All ended their tour longing for more time in these hallowed hallways that brought so many smiles.

Afterward, it was a quick drive across town, to Edwards Family Restaurant, and inductees and guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres and spirits. This was a wonderful time to reconnect with friends from “a few years ago” and network with new ones — all with a common purpose — to honor the newest inductees into the LCAVTS/LCCTC Class of 2025 Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to the following, who are Hall of Fame Inductees for 2025:

  • Nessa Smith, 1997 graduate from the Marketing program

  • Matt Frampton, 1997 graduate from the Drafting program

  • Matt Gebhardt, 1998 graduate from the Industrial Electricity program

  • Jeanette Cangiano Bangioni, 1975 graduate from the Distributive Education program
