Summertime Soldering Scholarship for Jonah Poupore

Congratulations Jonah Poupore! Jonah, a Commerical Arts soon-to-be-senior, has accepted a full scholarship into the small metals summer program at Touchstone Center located in Laurel Highlighlands. He is being taught by professional artist Erika Blair-Broas, a jewelry maker and entrepreneur. Jonah is the 5th CA student to be accepted on a full scholarship in recent years.

In his workshop, Jonah learned many skills relating to working with fine metals, and today, we wanted to share with you his success in soldering a ring he is working on.

Jonah — We can’t wait to hear all about your experience! Safe travels home!
