LCCTC Goes Red at Tales of Hope

In support of Heart Health Month this February, LCCTC’s Vet Assistant students wear read. They worked hard today at Tails of Hope to help spay and neuter numerous patients while showing off their red.

Students assist the staff at Tails of Hope which offers spaying and neutering services at low to no cost for qualified owners. This gives the students real-world experience while helping at multiple stations throughout the clinic. The VA students work in preparation, surgery, and recovery allowing them a wide variety of experiences.

After their three years at LCCTC, students can continue their studies in all sorts of animal-related careers such as technician certification, grooming, shelter medicine, and more. Whatever they do, they are a step ahead because they are so well-prepared upon graduation.
