Mark Makers Close at the Confluence

Since humans first recorded hunting trips on the walls of France’s caves right up to modern times with artists like andy warhol, silk screening soup cans, artists have made their mark on society. In the 57 years of the commercial Arts program at LCCTC, Lawrence County students have made their mark on our community. Mark Makers is an exhibition celebrating the last 6 years of work produced by students enrolled in the program. Featuring a wide variety of media including commercial and fine art created and designed by current students and alumni of the CA program at LCCTC.

We would like to thank those who have and continue to support our award-winning CA program at LCCTC.

Thank you to:

  • the Hoyt for their continued contributions to our students and community promoting and facilitating art across the region.

  • The Confluence for providing us the space and opportunity to showcase our students’ hard work.

  • our Occupational Advisory Committee (OAC) members for your generous time, advising our program’s curriculum and direction and ensuring that our students’ learning remains aligned with current industry trends.

  • the Joint Operating Committee, LCCTC, and the administration for your continued support of our program and students as we continue to grow and develop one of the top CTE art programs in the Commonwealth.

  • the parents and guardians who have put their faith and trust into our program to prepare your students for a future in commercial and advertising art.

  • to our students (most of all) whose hard work, creativity, and desire to succeed have collectively contributed to the many successes we celebrate today and in the future.

Thank you to everyone who came out last night to support our CA students at their closing reception for "Mark Makers".

It was a very nice turnout and, as expected, the wonderful food by RT was a huge hit! Thanks, Ms. Price and the RT program, for preparing such a delicious and creative menu for the event.

I know it meant a lot to the many students and parents in attendance to see the faculty showing their support.
